A symposium in spite of a time of defeat

Symposium (Gr.) - a banquet at which entertaining conversations and exchange of ideas take place.

A symposium in spite of a time of defeat

All food is excellent, aged wine is complete.
Let’s widely open the doors of our modern home!
A symposium in spite of a time of defeat
Is a noble ritual of ancient Greece and Rome.

Let’s get together, dear friends!
And sit together
To celebrate a Gift of Life that never ends
Let’s dine together!

A symposium in spite of a time of defeat
Is our humble win that drives all foes fuming.
They can’t prohibit us to joke, relax and eat,
And boldly face another battle looming.

Let’s get together, dear friends!
And stay together
To worship sacred Liberty that never ends
Let’s drink together!

A symposium in spite of a time of defeat
Is a timeless cause of our inspiration
“To form a more perfect Union”, indeed,
And keep the Republic of the vanquished Nation.

Let’s get together, dear friends!
And laugh together
To overcome regrets by Joy that never ends
Let’s be together!
